This fellow was not fazed in the least by the camera clicking right in his face.
He turned this way and that, as if to show off just how very fine he was.
He has such an intelligent expression, he almost looks...um...like... aaahhh bug.

I have seen so many freaky looking bugs but have not seen this one- do you know what it is?
ReplyDeleteI am not sure, but I did a google search and it kind of looks like pictures of a grey Capricorn Beetle... I agree that it is quite something to look at!
ReplyDeleteAmazing and you take such fantastic photos. I'd love if you would add some share buttons to your post entries so I could tweet a link to your posts once in a while. Here are great and easy instructions if you want to. It's not so hard. I did it on mine and I'm no blogging genius, that's for sure, just takes a bit of patience to look for the right spot in your html to stick the code....
ReplyDeleteHow to Add Share Buttons to Blogger
Of course maybe you don't want to which is understandable too.
Hi Kristin, thank you as always for your nice comments! You make me feel so good. I certainly don't have a problem with the share thing... just kind of a slow on whole technology curve. Anyway, I followed the link, and added the initial share thing as you can see. There was a second more involved step that I didn't understand too well, but I will take a second more studied look.
ReplyDeleteI just tried it! It works great. Sent off a little tweet of your bug photos! But really got to get some work done today.....
ReplyDeleteLooks like a pine beetle.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the identification suggestion. I looked at pictures of both a pine and a spruce beetle, and saw some images that looked like it and some that didn't. But there were definitely some images that were VERY similar. Sounds like a match to me.
